A couple of week ends ago we had a braai for our friends and obviously show off our city game farm concept . I was pointing out the Wildebeest, Spring Bokke and Giraffes etc.all living in perfect peace with no threat from lions or hyenas or the like.
So I thought, the next thing two non-indigenous cyclists came chasing down throught the veldt and that was the end of our game viewing. The animals scattered.
If these non- indigenous animals want to cause disruption to the indigenous animals then I think they should ask our animals if they are worthy of asylum. My vote would be to tell them to stick their bicycles where they don’t fit best.
Why can’t these people stick to the road routes? Every society has their village idiots I suppose.
